The award was presented Saturday night, October 20, 2012 in Vancouver, British Columbia by the Project Management Institute at this year’s global conference. Competing with over 1,700 other registered education providers within the field, Velociteach brought home the top honors in the individual/business category.

Velociteach was nominated for the prestigious award by a key client for their success in developing a curriculum for the company’s managers. The course, designed for a utility corporation serving 9 million people in the U.S., trained staff in new project management processes and techniques. Velociteach successfully delivered it to hundreds of their staff across the enterprise in a very short time frame.
“This engagement was right in our sweet spot,” said Velociteach’s Director of Training, Bill Yates. “We had less than a month to understand the new processes and pull together a training course. We assembled a fantastic team to partner with the client. Our staff was able to develop custom curriculum and deliver it rapidly, and the customer feedback on the quality of the program was outstanding.”
