What PM training options does Velociteach provide and how do I decide which one is right for me?
The most assured way of passing the PMP® Exam the first time is to take a live class, which includes Andy Crowe’s Pass the PMP® Exam textbook, course workbook, CD and flash card study tools, access to the InSite e-learning course, and other essential classroom materials. This fully-interactive 3-day course, taught by a PMP-certified instructor, is offered in both live-venue and live-online settings and is backed by our 100% guarantee (see details above).
For the self-starter seeking a more flexible study tool, InSite is a great option. Delivered through our proprietary e-learning platform, this exam preparation system monitors your progress, acts as a virtual coach, and contains over 600 practice questions. Two other practice-test courses, each containing 200 additional questions, are available for separate purchase as well. A free InSite trial is included with purchase of the PMP® Exam book.
For those who need to study on-the-go, or who are looking for a more economical way to prepare for the exam, the PMP® Exam book and other resources (such as CDs and flash cards) are the best choice.
How much does each of these options cost?
The 3-Day PMP® Exam Prep class and the CAPM® Exam Prep class each cost $2,447.
InSite subscription times and prices vary: $189 for 1 month, $259 for 3 months, or $299 for 6 months.
The Velociteach PMP® Exam book, The PMP® Exam: How to Pass on Your First Try, is $99.
Will my company pay for it?
This is at your company’s discretion. Companies that choose to pay for or reimburse employees may send their employees to public classes or choose to offer onsite classes for multiple students.
What are the location and dates of public classes?
Live classes for the public are available in many locations across the country and throughout the year. Check class locations and schedules here.
If you are unable to attend a public class, private classes are also available to be taught at your company’s location.
How frequently are the materials updated?
Exam preparation materials are updated regularly to keep them in line with the changing PMBOK® standards and to improve materials.
For the live training class, is 3 days long enough?
Our extensive experience with the best way to prepare students for the PMP® Exam is that 3 days is the perfect length. Any longer, and students are pushed to the point of fatigue and over-saturation. Any less time and there isn’t enough time to cover the material. Our students leave the course ready to take the exam immediately.
