What is PMP® certification?
The Project Management Professional (PMP) credential is the most important industry-recognized certification for project managers. It demonstrates to peers and employers that you have the experience, education and competence to successfully lead and direct projects.
Certification will put you on the fast track to earning more for the work that you currently do. According to a 2009 PMI Project Management Salary Survey, PMP-certified project managers in six major countries reported a $10,000 salary advantage over their non-PMP-certified counterparts. Even in the midst of the recession, 51% of respondents reported increases in compensation thanks to their designation as a PMP.
And it’s not just the individual project manager who benefits from certification. Now more than ever, businesses that provide PM services must employ PMP-certified project managers in order to meet the bid requirements of most projects.
Velociteach, the leader in project management and PMP Exam prep education, is proud to have trained over 22,000 students for the PMP Exam with a pass rate of over 98%.
