Velociteach Responds to Hurricane Disasters

UPDATE: Thanks to the generous support of our readers and customers, we were able to donate $735 to Convoy of Hope towards recent Hurricane Relief funds. Everyone here at Velociteach is appreciative of your efforts and honored to give back to those communities in need.

Due to the weather impacts of Hurricane Irma, Velociteach’s office was closed on Monday, September 11th 2017. With more than 20 employees located throughout Georgia and Florida, safety of the staff was of the utmost concern. Thankfully, we are thrilled to announce that all employees and their families are safe and none suffered serious damage to their homes. If you experienced any delays in our response time due to our closing, we apologize but do appreciate your patience and understanding. We are all excited to be back and in full operation. Now that the storm has passed, we are eager to help not only our customers, but our community.

Although our headquarters may be based in Atlanta, Georgia, Velociteach is truly a global company, and sees the entire world as a single community worth helping. With two major hurricane disasters hitting so close to home, we cannot fail to recognize the effects of this catastrophe throughout the Caribbean and Gulf coasts. Andy Crowe, CEO of Velcoiteach, is no stranger to charitable giving, allocating 5% of employee paid time to community service annually. Crowe believes, “in the value of giving back to the community through acts of service, and it’s always been important to encourage my team’s involvement.” With this in mind, Velociteach will respond to Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma by donating 20% of InSite’s online course proceeds to Convey of Hope, an international non-profit organization.
