What is the difference in contact hours and PDUs?
Training hours completed PRIOR TO earning a certification are Contact Hours. PDUs are required AFTER achieving a certification.
Does the 4-day boot camp satisfy the 35 contact hours I need to apply for the exam?

Yes, the course provides you with over 35 contact hours to satisfy PMI’s education requirement.

Do you provide PMP exam application assistance?

Yes! Velociteach has a few different helpful resources to help students fill out PMI’s PMP exam application, including a 25-minute walk-through video. Our team is also happy to answer any application related questions you have and help you in the event of an audit.

What does the ‘virtual’ option on the schedule mean?

The ‘virtual’ classes are live, instructor-led classes that are delivered virtually in real time. These classes are structured just like our in-person classes—except you’ll attend from your computer so no travel is needed. Students can ask questions and engage with the instructor. This video shows what you can expect in our virtually-delivered PMP Exam Prep class. With virtual delivery, you can attend our Boot Camp without leaving your base camp.

What is included in the price? Does it include the price of the exam?

Note that the cost of the exam is not included in course tuition and should be paid directly to PMI. We recommend becoming a PMI member first which will save you a little bit of money and provide you with free access to a PDF version of the PMBOK.

Do I need to do anything to prepare for class?

The biggest piece of advice for preparing for class: read as much of the book as possible. Familiarizing yourself with the key terms & concepts will help jumpstart your learning journey; and you’ll be able to come to class already prepared with a list of questions for your live subject-matter-expert instructor.

You’ll also be provided a receive an access key to Velociteach’s online eLearning system delivered through InSite. While not required, it is highly recommended that students spend time exploring the material in InSite prior to the first day of class.

The more studying you do before class, the more you will get out of the class – and the sooner you will be ready to sit for the exam!

Those who plan to take the PMP exam upon completion of this course should meet PMI’s requirements for PMP certification and complete the exam application process with PMI. It is highly recommended to at least begin the application prior to class, even though you will likely wait to submit until after the course to record the 35 education hours the course provides.
