Andy Crowe is the CEO and founder of Velociteach, as well as the author of Alpha Project Managers: What the Top 2% Know that Everyone Else Does Not, The PMP® Exam: How to Pass on Your First Try, and The forthcoming PMI-ACP Exam: How to Pass on Your First Try. He is the best selling project management author alive today.
Andy is a Project Management Professional (PMP®), a Program Management Professional (PgMP), and a Six Sigma Black Belt. He is passionate about jazz trumpet, and he serves as President of the board of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Cobb County. He is an alumnus of the Leadership Cobb and Honorary Commanders programs and is a participant in this year’s Leadership Atlanta class.

Chris Goethe, PMP®
Director, Business Development
Chris Goethe, a member of the management team, heads the Business Development group at Velociteach. He manages all aspects of marketing and advertising for the company, and his organization is responsible for seeking, securing and scheduling live training classes. Drawing on his experience in project management from three multi-million dollar industrial construction projects in South Carolina, Chris brings a deep understanding of projects and project management to his work. Prior to working with Velociteach, he spent 18 years in sales and sales management and operations in the transportation industry throughout the southeastern United States. A graduate of Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina, Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
In addition to the talent manifested in his work, Chris has played the guitar professionally since 1982. He and his wife live in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Bill Yates, PMP®, PgMP, PMI-ACP
Director, Training
Bill Yates is the Director of Training at Velociteach and a member of the management team. His organization is responsible for delivery of all training classes and new course development. Additionally, he is one if the key architects of InSite, Velociteach’s revolutionary e-learning system. Bill is a Project Management Professional and Program Management Professional with over fifteen years of experience in the software industry, managing projects for some of the nation’s largest utility companies. He worked for EDS and went on to become one of eight original founders of Information Intellect, a leading provider of financial and accounting software and consulting in the utility industry.
As a subject matter expert and project leader, Bill managed successful projects for well-known telecommunication organizations, including BellSouth, Sprint, Qwest, and Verizon Communications.
In 2011, Bill was asked to join the Advisory Group for the PMI Registered Education Provider program. Advisors are R.E.P.s who use their professional knowledge and expertise to counsel and guide the R.E.P. program administration. Currently, there are 8 members on this volunteer MAG from diverse regions, including the Netherlands, India, China, Switzerland, Costa Rica, Brazil, the UAE, and the USA.
Bill holds the Agile Certified Professional certification from Project Management Institute.
Bill received a B.A. in Business Administration, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Furman University. He and his wife live in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Katrina Wood, PMP®
Director, Operations
Katrina Wood is responsible for ensuring that Velociteach’s training classes come together seamlessly. She is a member of the management team, and her organization coordinates all operational aspects of customer registration, scheduling, event planning, and business operations at Velociteach. In addition to 6 years of management experience with Aetna, Inc., she has spent over 10 years planning and executing events in both corporate and private environments.
An avid reader, Katrina holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia in Journalism and Public Relations. She and her husband reside in Canton, Georgia.
Margaret Love, PMP®
Instructor
Margaret Love became a Fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI) in 1987, achieved her Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification in 2000, and earned her Six Sigma Black Belt in 2001. She combines this expertise in project management and process improvement with deep work experience in corporate training. Additionally, Margaret has over 20 years experience managing projects and project managers in information technology for the life insurance industry, most recently at MetLife.
Margaret says, “Project management is my favorite process, project managers are my favorite people, and there is not much I’d rather do than talk with project managers about project management!”
A summa cum laude graduate of Charleston Southern University, Margaret and her husband now live in Greenville, South Carolina.
Louis Alderman, MBA, PMP®, PMI-ACP, CSM
Instructor/Instructional Designer
Louis Alderman is an instructional designer at Velociteach, responsible for curriculum development. He is a Project Management Professional, holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and earned his Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston. Louis came to Velociteach with over 28 years of experience at Hewlett Packard, where he developed and delivered training courses for HP’s Computer Repair Force. He experienced successful tours of duty in technical computer sales as well as the computer peripheral OEM marketplace, where he developed and managed a peripheral distribution program for regional and national distributors.
Louis contributed 14 years of his time at HP in information technology project management and the creation of HP Managed Services’ project management office. He has managed many projects of global scope, including successfully providing access to HP’s Employee Web Portal to all employees on Day 1 of the HP acquisition of Compaq Computer Corporation. He also served as an internal project management consultant as a primary role in HP’s IT PMO.
Louis holds certifications from the Scrum Alliance as a Certified ScrumMaster and from Project Management Institute as an Agile Certified Practioner.
A native Georgian, Louis resides in the north Georgia Mountains with his wife.

Jason O. Breitfeller, PMP®
Instructor
Jason Breitfeller is a PMP® and the owner of BreitIdeas Inc., a business management consulting firm focused on implementing proven solutions for complex, small business challenges. In addition to Mr. Breitfeller’s consulting business, he acts as a part-time Instructional Specialist for the Government Contracting Program at the National Center for Small Business Information (NCSBI) at Florida Institute of Technology. Through this position Mr. Breitfeller provides guidance to small businesses on locating, understanding and pursuing government contracts and Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Programs. Prior to founding BreitIdeas, Jason functioned in the Aerospace and Defense industry, holding various business management and program management positions with Northrop Grumman and L-3 Communications. Through his experience in managing an advanced development engineering group responsible for creating innovative solutions for the U.S. government, Jason has gained advanced knowledge and understanding of several government organizations such as the Department of Defense, the Department of Transportation, and the Department of Homeland Security.
Jason earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Oglethorpe University, holds an M.B.A. from Webster University, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Leadership and Development from Barry University. In addition to his PMP® certification, Jason also maintains professional certification as a Lead Auditor for ISO9000. He and his wife live near Orlando, Florida.
Harold Samson, MA, AAMS, PMP®
Instructor
Harold Samson brings to Velociteach more than 25 years experience in Application Systems Development, 20 of these involved in all aspects of Project Management. As Senior Principal and co-founder of C.W. Costello and Associates, a national provider of business systems consulting services to Fortune 500 companies, Harold gained hands-on experience managing project teams in all phases of the system development life cycle within many different industries, including telecom, insurance, banking, manufacturing, public utilities, retail, publishing, and government.
Harold has been an active investor for almost 30 years, and as an entrepreneur has provided venture capital and leadership skills to three different start-up companies.
Harold graduated with honors from the University of Florida, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Science. He also holds a master’s degree in Economics from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. Harold and his wife live just outside Orlando, Florida.
Greg Stevens, Ph.D., PMP®, PMI-ACP
Instructor
Greg has over 20 years of experience as a project manager for large-scale training course development projects. As The Home Depot’s Manager of elearning Development, Greg was the project manager for the creation of over 100 eLearning courses available to The Home Depot’s 350,000 associates. In this role, Greg was responsible for managing project work streams in Information Technology, Human Resources, Operations, and Merchandising. Prior to working with The Home Depot, Greg was Manager of Change Management Services for Accenture. Greg oversaw all phases of project management for training development and delivery projects that accompanied the implementation of enterprise-wide software. With Accenture, Greg worked with clients in the telecommunications, utility, and health insurance industries.
Additionally, Greg was a full time professor of Human Resource Development for several years and has served as training consultant to several large corporations including IBM, Citibank, and Motorola.
Greg holds a B.S. in Business Administration and an M.A. in Higher Education Administration from Ohio State University, an M.S. in Management Science from Georgia State University, and a Ph.D. in Instructional Design from Florida State University.
Greg lives in Smyrna, Georgia with his wife. In their free time, they enjoy spending time at their vacation home in Florida and traveling throughout the world.
Bob Mahler, PMP®, MBA
Instructor
Bob Mahler brings 16 years of Project Management experience to his role at Velociteach, having served 12 years in the U.S. Army and gaining 10 years of experience in the telecommunications field. Bob is a Special Forces combat veteran with a proven track record of leading, training, and developing diverse teams, including Special Operations, Field Operations, Emergency Response Teams and Foreign Nationals. He has considerable experience with first-responder agencies and military communications ops.
While with Sprint Nextel, Bob led the Operations area of the Emergency Response Team. He provided tactical resource coordination and training development for personnel, equipment, and infrastructure throughout the U.S., supporting Federal- and State-declared emergencies and disasters as well as National Special Security events. More recently, Bob consulted at the Department of Homeland Security HQ as a Tactical Wireless Project Lead, providing leadership for 10 subject matter experts focused on reducing O&M spending.
Bob is an active volunteer for the Washington, DC PMI chapter and is writing his first book. He holds a B.A. in Organizational Leadership from Wheeling Jesuit University, and an M.B.A. in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix. Bob and his family live in the Washington, DC area.
Becky Hodgins
Senior Client Relations Specialist
Becky Hodgins is responsible for coordinating all aspects of onsite classes, providing outrageous customer service to both businesses and individual students alike. She is the single point of contact for corporate and government clients in the delivery of live training classes, and she assists our students in interacting with PMI as they work toward earning their PMP® or CAPM® certification. Becky also provides oversight in the daily operations of our corporate office.
Prior to joining Velociteach, Becky worked for nearly 20 years in Prudential’s Atlanta office, providing customer service in their relocation division. She enjoys cooking, gardening, and scuba diving and resides in Canton, Georgia.
Maggie Carter
Account Manager
As part of the Business Development team, Maggie Carter supports our clients nationwide. She assists corporate customers in determining their project management training needs, and provides education on the live courses and training services Velociteach offers. Maggie also works with clients to schedule private onsite training classes, and helps them take advantage of Velociteach’s public live training offerings as well.
Currently a student at Kennesaw State University, Maggie will graduate with a B.S. in Communication in December 2011. She lives in Kennesaw with her 2 dogs, Rosa and Baby
Kim Worthley
Operations Assistant
Kim Worthley is known to many as the “first voice of Velociteach,” ready to provide students with our signature outrageous customer service every time she answers a call. She supports all aspects of the company’s operations, from registering students in live classes, to educating them about different training options, to shipping our licensing products around the world. Whenever there’s a need, Kim is there to help.
Kim brings 25 years of experience in administrative support and customer service to the operations team, having worked with companies such as ADCTelecommunications and Humana, Inc. She and her husband reside in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Colette Thompson
Executive Assistant
As Andy Crowe’s Executive Assistant, Colette Thompson provides support for our CEO and founder. In addition to assisting Andy in the daily operations of the company, she also handles the front lines of the licensing line of business and many of Velociteach’s community affairs.
Colette speaks English and Spanish, and enjoys playing with her dog Cocoa and spending time with friends and family.
